Hailing from Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula, garage punk duo Good Sniff today share their roaring and addictive new single “Theft On Pig Street”. Referencing tales of early era surf crime and inspired by films such as Point Break and Lords of Dogtown, “Theft On Pig Street” offers up a witness perspective to bank robberies taking place in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

 

These themes see drummer / vocalist Lachie Brown and bassist Elias Hodson steer away from the Aussie banter and good-time lyrics that have previously been prominent in their songwriting, and step into heavier territory both lyrically and sonically, weaving elements of surf rock with gritty punk riffs.

 

“Theft On Pig Street'' is the band’s first new music since their debut album Bad News dropped earlier this year, and will be supported by an unmissable headline show at Melbourne’s Lulie Tavern on Friday 13th October.

 

Good Sniff have cut their teeth on the live circuit sharing stages with the likes of Wavves, The Grogans, Skeggs, Old Mervs, and Ruby Fields, building a strong following that has seen them sell out several headline shows around Melbourne.
